Tour Booking terms and Conditions

• All bookings must be made in writing on email
  A 50% deposit will be required at the confirmation of the tour and balance to be paid 45 days before the tour begins.
• We require full payments for any tour made 45 days before the beginning of the tour arrangements.
• Funtimes Kenya Safaris reserves the right to cancel any booking without any notice with the expiration of the due date.
• Published prices are based on the cost at the time of the publication. We reserve the right to change published prices at any time before your booking is made. We reserve the right to increase the cost of the tour in a case where its beyond our control e.g. if the Government imposes new taxes, increase existing or fuel charge increase. We shall inform you of any increase.

Cancellation Policy.

• If a cancellation notice is received by the company 60 days before the commencement of the tour; – Zero cancellation charges.
• If a cancellation notice is received by the company 40 days before the commencement of the tour; – 30% cancellation charges apply.
• If a cancellation notice is received by the company 39- 20 days before the commencement of the tour; – 50% cancellation charges apply.
• If a cancellation notice is received by the company 19 – 7 days before the commencement of the tour; – 70% cancellation charges apply.
• If a cancellation notice is received by the company 6 days before the commencement of the tour; – 100% cancellation charges apply.
• Refunds due to you in the event of safari cancellation can only be credited to the original credit / debit card used in making of initial payment.
• In the event of a cancellation, please be advised that a 5% administrative fee will be levied to account for transaction charges.
• Kindly take note that during peak periods, we may not follow the cancellation policies as stated above due to making advance payments to various hotels and lodges as such cancellations during this time is 100% nonrefundable.
• Please send an email for any intention of cancelling a tour and the company shall apply the cancellation policies. We don’t refund unused portions of the program, and there will be no refunds to clients who do not complete the tour for any reason whatsoever.
• Incase of a request for an amendment from a client, we will make the changes with minimum or no penalties, however the client will be liable to any unavoidable amendment charges.
• Before accepting your booking, the company reserves the right to notify you of any increase in price.

Tour Cost Inclusions

• Accommodation as specified in the itinerary. 
• Transport as mentioned in the itinerary.
• Meal Plan as specified in the itinerary.
• Sightseeing and game drives as specified in the itinerary.
• Game drives in a 4×4 land cruiser safari jeep or a on a tour Van.
• Park Entry fees.
• English speaking driver guide throughout the tour.
• 1 x 1L mineral water per day.
•  Exclusive use of a 4×4 land cruiser or a Tour Van.

Tour Cost Exclusions

• Any other item of personal use i.e. laundry, travel insurance,
• Any item not in the inclusion
• Tips and gratuities
• International/domestic flight.

Complaints

For any complaints or problems during a safari, we urge our esteemed clients to immediately raise the issues with the accompanying trip guide and directly contact our tour manager for immediate intervention and solutions. In case of any dissatisfaction at the end of the trip, complaints can be addressed to the tour manager in writing within 7 days for further investigation and improvements on future trips.

Accommodation and tours.

• Funtimes Kenya Safaris will always ensure that you stay in the hotels, camps or lodges as requested and confirmed, it reserves the right to make changes to similar ones.
• Funtimes Kenya Safaris reserves the right to change any route or arrange should it be necessary, to substitute of equal value or to cancel the operation of any scheduled tour. The right is also reserved to accept or decline or retain a certain person as a member of a tour at any time in which in this event an equivalent amount will be refunded. Funtimes Kenya Safaris will not accept any liability or responsibility if a client does not accept any such optional arrangements offered, in all cases which Funtimes Kenya Safaris determines to be out of their control.

Travel Insurance

•  The client should ensure they have travel insurance from a reputable insurance company to protect them against personal accidents, medical expenses, emergencies and loss or damage to your property. The client risks losing all or part of their travel investment.
• Funtimes Kenya Safaris is not responsible for any loss, damage to a person, property, luggage etc. of the client due to an unforeseen mishap
  The client shall be responsible to request
• Funtimes Kenya Safaris of any special requests relating to their diets, medical, disability which may affect their comfort during the safari. We shall endeavor to make such provisions but will not be responsible for failure to provide for such if such shortfall is beyond our control.

Funtimes Kenya Safaris Responsibilities

Funtimes Kenya Safaris will only act as an agent for all accommodation, meals, transport and all other items provided to the client except in cases where such facilities are owned by Funtimes Kenya Safaris. Whilst Funtimes Kenya Safaris will always subcontract the best of all such facilities, it shall not be liable whatsoever, for any shortfalls experienced as a result of such subcontracts.

Refunds

As a result of negligence or any other shortcoming in the part of Funtimes Kenya safaris, the company shall refund to the client , all or part of payment submitted by the client , for services not provided .

Limit Of Liability

• Funtimes Kenya Safaris shall not be responsible for any severe injury or death due to participation to certain travels which have inherent risks including, but not limited to, attacks by wild animals , hot air ballooning , sightseeing ,flights in domestic planes, mountain climbing or rafting.
• Funtimes Kenya Safaris will not be responsible for losses or expenses from mother nature (weather), Acts of God , civil war ,quarantine, sickness, wars, custom regulations or such other causes.

Laws Of Kenya

All the above conditions shall be subject to the laws of the Republic of Kenya in case of any matter. The client submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya , which shall be the sole forum for the hearing of any claim .
